SpringGR is a business training program and entrepreneurial support network that helps aspiring and established entrepreneurs turn their ideas into successful businesses. Through hands-on training, mentorship, and community resources, SpringGR provides the tools needed to grow and sustain a business.
SpringGR is for entrepreneurs of all backgrounds, whether they have a new business idea, are in the early stages of business, or want to take their existing business to the next level. The program is designed for individuals who want to learn business fundamentals, refine their business models, and connect with a supportive network of entrepreneurs and business professionals.
SpringGR classes are held in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Locations may vary based on the program.
No, you do not need to have a fully developed business idea to join SpringGR. The program is designed to help individuals refine their ideas, explore opportunities, and create a strong foundation for launching and growing a business.
SpringGR offers continued support to alumni through networking events, workshops, business coaching, mentorship, access to funding opportunities, and alumni-exclusive programs such as the Kitchen Incubator Program.

SpringGR’s business accelerator programs last 14 weeks and are split into two parts: four-week mindset training and 10-week practical business training.
The cost of all accelerator programs is $150, with the exception of Next Level, which is $500.
The first part of the accelerator programs are tough. It’s designed to help people work on their mindset, develop peer coaching relationships, and weed themselves out if they, or we, decide that the program is not for them.

No, submitting an application does not automatically secure a spot. After applying, you may be invited to an interview or orientation, and final acceptance will be based on available space in the cohort.
Yes, all SpringGR participants receive coaching and mentorship from experienced business professionals.
We do not work with nonprofit organizations. Our curriculum/program is designed to help for-profit businesses.
SpringGR runs two cohorts each year. To find out when the next cohort begins, visit our application page or follow us on social media for updates on application deadlines and program start dates.
Yes, anyone interested in taking the program must complete an application, as well as an intake form. However, for applicants who share a business, only one business partner needs to submit a class deposit.
